Description
After early Christianity is legalized under Constantine, syncretism evolves in both the Christian art and architecture of the East, and in the later Christian art and architecture of Medieval Roman Catholicism. In both styles, interpretation of the second commandment denies artists the ability to make realistic art, something that it will take a Renaissance to change.
