In response to the impacts of COVID, the Front Porch Center for Innovation and Wellbeing (FPCIW) developed Staying Home, Staying Connected, a resource guide to help engage and connect older adults through technology. This workshop will go over the many online resources that we’ve culled through and suggestions on applying these technology solutions to promote growth, connectivity, and social connections during a time of uncertainty, stress, and isolation in the midst of the COVID-19 epidemic.
Cox Communications has teamed up with San Diego Oasis to provide free online classes for seniors in an effort to ensure that technology training is available to everyone who wants it. Cox and Oasis strongly believe now more than ever that seniors need to be connected, engaged and involved in the world. Cox is providing these classes as a service to all members of San Diego Oasis.
