Description

O’Keeffe’s work in these years include her paintings of New York City, Lake George, still lifes and her famous flowers. The talk will examine her rise to fame, her determination to remain unique and her effort to continually challenge herself through her work. It is also the story of a great romance and collaboration between O’Keeffe and her husband, Alfred Stieglitz. Toward the end of this period she begins her trips to New Mexico and discovers the land she will soon make her home.
