From the heart of the 1960’s counterculture, Bob Dylan in the U.S. and the team of Lennon/McCartney in England ushered in a popular songwriting revolution. Who were their respective influences? How did they influence each other? Why are their songs still so important and enduring? Why were Dylan’s “Like a Rolling Stone” and and the Beatles’ “Sgt.
