Description
This course centers on the Early Church Fathers’ eschatological concept of the “Apocatastasis” – the ultimate reconciliation, renewal, and, restoration of all creation, returning to The Creator. The class will focus on the sayings and writings of Origen, St. Clement, St. Gregory of Nyssa, and, St. Maximus Confessor. With passages from Scripture, as well as texts from the Early Church Fathers – both the Eastern and Western Traditions will be examined.
