In one of the great ironies of history, the successful outcome of the French and Indian War triggered a series of events that ultimately led to the American Declaration of Independence. Professor Blaine Davies traveled to upstate New York to visit many of the sites where the war was fought. His presentation will feature a photographic journal of his trip as well as a synopsis of the key events in the war including how the outcome of the war helped shape our nation’s future.
