Description
NOTE: This is not a beginning watercolor class. This class will further expose continuing students to working with color and water. Expand on the fundamentals learned in Ann’s previous classes, including color mixing, water and paint mixing, tone, hue, saturation through class demonstrations and exercises. You will create a painting using the techniques learned.
Members will need to bring the following:
- Watercolor Paints
- Professional Grade (Daniel Smith Watercolor Essentials Set | Michaels)
- Student Grade (Winsor & Newton™ Cotman Watercolour™ 12 Color Paint Tube Collection | Michaels)
- Paint Brushes
- Round Tip Brushes by Princeton Series Heritage (4050 Sizes 8 and 6 Synthetic Sable Hair)
- Paper
- Strathmore Watercolor Paper Tablet (9”x12” 140 lb Cold Press)
- Miscellaneous Supplies
- Artist Masking or Painters Tape
- Watercolor Sponges
- Plastic Cling Wrap
- Backing Board or easel for supporting watercolor such as a plastic cutting board
