Create your own unique, functional works of art! In this hands-on class, each participant will design and make three 2″×6″ bookmarks, choosing to create one-sided or two-sided designs on quality cardstock paper.

For inspiration, we will explore abstract painting techniques and use the instructor’s original drawings as creative starting points. Participants will experiment with color, composition, and design to create bookmarks that reflect their individual style and imagination. No previous art experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and creativity!

Plastic bookmark sleeves will be provided to protect the finished artwork and give each bookmark a polished look.

Students will need to bring the following materials to class:

Micron pens, sizes 0.3 and 0.5
Water-based acrylic markers or/and colored pencils
#2 HB sharpened pencil
