Description

You might be what you eat, but you’re also what you laugh at. Ever wonder what babies and chimps have in common when they laugh or why we watch some comedies from the 1950s and no longer find them funny? Ever wonder what ancient Greeks and Romans thought was hilarious? This class will explore the history of humor:  from the earliest written joke through modern feminist humor, religious humor, puns, dark humor and even a scandalous joke or two along the way.
