Description
Using both magazine images and hand painted papers, you’ll practice different composition principles and formats to create collages. Principles: contrast in color for light, medium, and dark values, contrast in quiet vs. patterned images and contrast in size and shape. Formats: strata, grid, landscape, cruciform, radial and 3+3, etc. Students will need to bring the following: Scissors, Glue Stick, Magazine(s).
