Explore the beauty of the changing seasons through the fluid and expressive medium of watercolor in the immersive landscape painting class. You will learn fundamental watercolor techniques, how to mix seasonal color palettes, composing balanced and engaging landscape scenes, and more
Members will need to bring the following:
- watercolor paint, at least 12 basic colors
- 100% cotton, cold press, watercolor paper
- watercolor painting brushes, at least 4, 1″ flat, No.8 or 10/12 round brush, No.1 or 2 round brush, 1 small old brush for dipping in masking fluid
- painting board
- masking fluid or drawing gum
- masking tape
- pencils & erasers
- a roll of paper towel
- 1 ultra fine ink pen/sharpie
- transfer paper, optional
- hair dryer, optional
- spray bottle, optional
San Diego Oasis will provide: some brushes, markers, palettes, water containers
