Description
Let’s go back more than two thousand years an explore Native American life in Rancho Bernardo at the village of Ahta. Students will leave the class with a better, richer, understanding of the native people who inhabited this area at the time of Christ. We will take a look at native art, land management, social organization, medicinal practices, and much more. At the end of class, students will also understand how the Kumeyaay of this area were dispossessed of their land and much of their culture.
