Description

What are Blue Zones? They’re geographic regions where people live longer, healthier lives than average– often past 100 years of age with few (if any!) medical issues and remarkably little cognitive decline.  It has been postulated that some of the foods from these regions may play a role in this type of longevity with vitality.

This cooking class will teach you how to eat like a Sardinian, as Sonya demonstrates how to make Fregola Salad from the Blue Zone: Sardinia.    The recipe features roasted red pepper, fennel, olives, and fresh herbs, and is a delicious way to introduce Mediterranean flavors to your meal. It also makes the perfect dish for any season!
