Description
Dance happens everywhere: the stage, the club, the screen and even at civil uprisings. This course invites you to consider how movement develops, who dances and where, and how culture and history are inextricably tied to how people dance. Join us to look at how identity and movement particularly work together to shape our perceptions about culture. After we were so isolated early in this decade, this class will include community-building practices. We’ll talk, watch, and even move together!
