Description
Botanical illustration can be considered the place where art meets science. In this introductory class for beginners, we will create a true, lifelike, accurate rendering of a California favorite, the Meyer Lemon plant. Our process will include designing the composition, researching the scientific name, and learning watercolor and mixed media tools to create the illustration. Bring a lemon and leaves from your own plant or draw from mine!
