Description

Broadly defined, a cryptocurrency is virtual or digital money that takes the form of tokens or “coins” and while some cryptocurrencies have ventured into the physical world with credit cards or other projects, the large majority remain entirely intangible. Now that China is ready to roll out a government controlled cryptocurrency called Blockchain, the US government is developing the US Fedcoin system. This lecture covers the new rollouts and the global implications of government created digital currencies.
