This musical event honors our Nation’s veterans with their music…the music that evolved from their experiences of service… and songs that reflect their commitment and sacrifice. Featured songs will include “The Armed Services Medley,” “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” ” Johnny’s Gone for a Soldier,” “Letters” and many other songs from our nation’s history. Their lyrics, with the guitar, banjo and percussion as featured instruments. An upbeat and respectful ‘History Through Music’ event.
