Description

Ikebana is not only a beautiful and meditative art form but also a wonderful way to connect with nature, practice mindfulness, and explore creativity. It has broad appeal for individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to those with a background in floral design.

In this class, participants will:

  • Learn the fundamental principles of Ikebana, including balance, harmony, and asymmetry.
  • Explore traditional and modern techniques.
  • Create their own arrangements using seasonal materials.
  • Students need to bring a sharp pair of scissors or garden clippers.  All other  materials will be provided (plastic shell/container and seasonal, locally grown flowers).
