Description
This beginning knitting class is for those people whose skills range from “never tried to knit” to “I tried and didn’t get it” to “I did it a long time ago and don’t remember much”. In this class, you will learn the basic skills to knit a beautiful scarf.
Note: this class is held concurrently with the Knitting 2 and Beyond! knitting class. From 10-11 am, Knitting 1 students will be given priority over the rest of the class.
Members need to bring the following:
Please bring with you on the first day:
-Size 10 straight knitting needles, ~12 – 14” long
-TWO skeins of yarn, either Lion Brand Homespun (Bulky size 5, 6oz balls – 184 yds) or Loops and Thread Textured Twist (same specs), which is available at Michaels.
-All supplies can also be bought online. Pick a pretty color and we’ll create together!
