Description
For students with some knitting experience, this class builds on the skills learned in the Knitting 1 class. The first project in this class is a beautiful hat. Skills learned are purling, decreasing, knitting a rib stitch, mastering the mattress stitch, and reading a pattern. After the first two projects (scarf from knitting 1 and hat) are completed, the sky’s the limit! You pick your project and we’re here to help in any way you need.
Members will need to bring the following:
-Size 8 – 14” straight knitting needles,
-ONE skein of medium yarn, number 4 (at least 6 oz), which can be purchased anywhere – most people in the class tend to buy at Michaels or Walmart. All supplies can also be purchased online.

Note: This class is held concurrently with the Knitting 1 class. From 11am-12 pm. Knitting 1 students will be given priority over the rest of the class. From 12-1, priority will be given to the Knitting 2 and Beyond students.
