Description
If you have some beginning, basic knitting experience, then join us to learn and implement next level skills and finesse. The first project in this class is a beautiful hat. Skills learned are purling, knitting a a rib stitch, decreasing, mastering the mattress stitch and reading a pattern. After your hat is completed, or if you have previously completed Knitting 2: Beyond the Basics, the sky’s the limit! You can bring or pick your own project, and we’re here to help in any way you need.
Students will need to bring the following:
-Size 8 – 14” straight knitting needles,
-ONE skein of medium yarn, number 4 (at least 6 oz), which can be purchased anywhere – most people in the class tend to buy at Michaels or Walmart. All supplies can also be purchased online.
