Our county’s history includes towns and villages which no longer physically exist. Communities like Bernardo, Merton, Stowe and Bostonia disappeared as separate entities decades ago. Yet these places once bustled with life, each with its own school, general store, often a stage and railroad stop. Vincent Rossi shares photos, maps and stories of daily life in the past from his research into these lost towns.
