Description
While Mah Jongg has been around for centuries in China, American Mah Jongg started in the 1920s. This version of the game uses a card that defines what line you are playing. In this beginner class, you will learn the finer points of the game, including strategy and the ability to see new options. It takes both skill and luck to win!
Participants will be responsible for purchasing their own card. Cards are available from the National Mah Jongg League or Amazon.com. Cards change yearly and cannot be duplicated. Oasis will provide sets for everyone to use.
Instructor Terri Adams has been an avid Mah Jongg player for over 50 years.
