Description

In the mid-to-late 1930s, a network of Japanese spies and their American collaborators spied on American military movements and capabilities. Some of those operations took place here in San Diego. Ultimately a woman know to many only as Mrs. X, a highly skilled cryptographer, broke the Japanese code and unraveled the network that extended from San Francisco to San Diego and from Tijuana to Baltimore. And did I mention Errol Flynn and Yoko Ono’s father?
