Description

Spring is the season for new life, and few things in nature are as hopeful and endearing to most of us as the nest of a bird.  Gillian Martin, co-leader of the Tree Care for Birds and other Wildlife program, will return to talk with us about the types of nests birds construct, how they decide where to build one, how we can spot signs of nesting behavior, and what we can do to avoid impacting nesting birds.  You will also learn how to be an effective ‘first responder’ when you encounter a baby bird or a damaged nest on the ground.
