Description
This course provides a brief summary of Roman Catholic beliefs and traditions,presenting material from The Holy Scriptures, The Catechism of The Catholic Church, some of the writings of the Early Church Fathers (both Eastern and Western Traditions), and the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Catherine of Siena. In addition, some modern scholarship concerning the Catholic Faith will be discussed. The object of this class is to encourage continued study of this subject, and the mystery and wonder of religious faith.
