Description
Shibori – traditional Japanese tie-dye – is an art technique used for creating custom hand-dyed materials and garments. In this class, you’ll explore Shibori dyeing by dipping then clamping, binding, folding, or wrapping fabric to achieve endless pattern variations. All supplies and materials will be provided by the instructor. It is recommended that you wear a smock or apron, and you are encouraged to bring plastic gloves to protect your hands from staining.
