Tai Chi, also called Tai Chi Chuan, is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Tai chi helps to sync breath to movement while moving the chi in our bodies.  This class will help people find strength and healing movement while refining postural movement fundamentals

Michael Birmingham has been studying and teaching fitness for the last 6 years and has worked diligently to understand the body and movement. In this time he has completed 2 yoga certifications, personal training, and completing a degree in health and applied nutrition. He has studied world religions and martial arts intensively for the last few years. He is currently finishing up a degree in dance and hopes to share his knowledge with others as he continues to be a student of life and movement.
