Description

This class will explore in depth several recent Supreme Court decisions that significantly adjusted the balance of government power — or threatened to.  The class will focus on decisions about the power of federal regulatory agencies (including the FDA’s regulation of abortion medication), the extent of presidential immunity from prosecution, and state power over federal elections.
