In our current chaotic political climate, questions may arise about the role that the Electoral College plays in Presidential Elections. Why was it created in the 18th century? What is it, exactly? What prompted its creation? How does it work? How has it affected the presidential election process over the years? What attempts have been made to modify it? In this lecture, we will take a close look at the answers to these questions. Additionally we will raise the question, “Is it still relevant in the 21st century?”
