Description
Many visionaries in the past have written about or portrayed the future in books, films or television. In many cases, their future is now in our past. We can evaluate what these visionaries foretold because we now have the benefit of 20:20 hindsight. In this lecture, we will discuss authors, novels, films, and television series and evaluate which were prescient and which were off in their predictions. We will use these evaluations to forecast our future in terms of the environment and technology.
