This class will explore what the world knew about science and medicine in 1804 when Lewis & Clark began their epic exploration. Chemistry, Physics, Biology & medicine were in their infancies. How did these sciences develop and how did Lewis & Clark utilize this information in their medical practice and research along their 8000 mile path.
