John Denver became a musical and cultural icon by writing and playing music about the joys of nature, disdain for city life, and the difficulties of personal relationships. His signature songs included “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, “Poems, The Music of John Denver Prayers & Promises”, “Annie’s Song”, “Rocky Mountain High”, “Calypso”, “Thank God I’m a Country Boy”, and “Sunshine on My Shoulders”. Guitarist Lisa Campbell will play, sing, and discuss Denver’s music.
