About Jami Shapiro
Jami Shapiro brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her work supporting seniors with ADHD and chronic disorganization. As an ADDCA Trained ADHD Coach, Certified Senior Advisor, and Level 2 Specialist in ADHD with the Institute for Chronic Disorganization, she combines clinical training with the insight of being a parent to two ADHD children and an adult child, all within a family where both parents have ADHD.
As the founder of A+ Accredited Silver Linings Transitions and host of the “Grandma Has ADHD” podcast, Jami specializes in helping older adults, caregivers, and professionals navigate the unique challenges of ADHD in later life. Her role as a Certified Senior Move Manager and Board of Directors member for the National Association of Senior and Specialty Move Managers (NASMM) positions her uniquely to address the intersection of aging, life transitions, and neurodiversity.
Jami speaks and writes nationally and internationally on aging and ADHD, using humor and real-life examples to address the senior-specific challenges of both diagnosed and undiagnosed ADHD. Her first book on the subject will be released in October 2025 during ADHD Awareness month.
