Description

In this philosophical investigation of the nature of forgiveness we explore multiple perspectives on a series of age-old questions: What is the best way to repair the damage done by wrong-doing? Is some damage too great to repair? Does the wrong-doer need to take responsibility for their harms to be forgiven, or can the victim of their wrong-doing forgive them unilaterally? What are some of the different ways various religions approach the problem of forgiveness? What does it mean to forgive oneself, and why is it so difficult?
