Description
Socrates was put on trial and sentenced to death for challenging the status quo. In his own defense, he highlights several critical issues that remain relevant to us today. After a lecture setting up the background of the trial, we will watch a 30-minute reenactment of the trial based on Plato’s dialogue, The Apology. Afterward, we will discuss it.
