A step by step class on how to do a travel sketch book. Students will learn how to simplify a complex scene using watercolors and ink.
Members need to bring the following to class:
Materials:
Watercolors: small set, plastic plate or pallet tray, jar or container for water, watercolor brushes– a few different sizes, black ink pens – a couple of different sizes, (eg Faber-Castell, Sakura Pigma Micron Pens), lead pencils and/or mechanical pencils, eraser, watercolor paper – 9×12 sheets or smaller or a watercolor sketch book, paper towels. Students should also bring a few photos they would like to use.
