Description

This class will be framed primarily based on the issues and recommendation of the Bipartisan Biden Commission report on Supreme Court reform of a year-plus ago.   Key issues will be Term Limits, Recusals, Ethics/Disclosure Rules, The “Shadow” Docket, and Reforming the Nomination Process.  We’ll also examine and discuss  the ethics code recently adopted by the Courts.

Glenn C. Smith, J.D., LL.M., recently retired from his 39+ year professorship  at California Western School of Law where he taught constitutional law and a Supreme court simulation class.   He is the author of Constitutional Law for Dummies and writes about a variety of legal issues for scholarly journals and publications aimed at non-legal audiences. He is a regular commentator in print, on TV and online regarding the Court and its cases.
