Description
This class is for beginning watercolorists. We will paint a white calla lily with dark green leaves. The finished painting is 8×10 and will fit in a standard 11×14 frame. You will get a traceable drawing for the painting. If you have never painted before, Linda suggests you take the Very Beginning watercolor class first.
Supply list:
Arches 140 lb cold press paper is a must. You can purchase this in a pad through Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, or Amazon. Don’t pay the extra for a watercolor block.
Suggested paint colors are:
Cobalt Blue
Burnt Sienna
Gamboge ( or other yellow)
A dark blue, such as Thalo
A dark green
A rose color red, such as permanent rose
A small super soft brush, such as a makeup brush. You can get them at the Dollar Store. You won’t use it for painting
