This participatory class will focus on the modern legal principles governing Free Speech, Free Exercise of Religion, and Separation of Church and State.  Through lively discourse with the instructor and your peers, you’ll explore landmark cases and understand controversies now on the Supreme Court case docket.

Glenn C. Smith, J.D., LL.M., recently retired from his 39+ year professorship  at California Western School of Law where he taught constitutional law and a Supreme court simulation class.   He is the author of Constitutional Law for Dummies and writes about a variety of legal issues for scholarly journals and publications aimed at non-legal audiences. He is a regular commentator in print, on TV and online regarding the Court and its cases.
