It was 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts. Trouble was brewing. Accusations of witchcraft surfaced and swirled around and through the community. In the end, thirteen women and six men (and two dogs!) were hanged. A man was pressed to death under heavy stones. And the reverberations have continued for more than three hundred years.
